Do an action audit.
Have you been taking daily action towards the things that will help you reach your goals? Hopefully your goals and daily actions are aligned with your pillar visions - if not, revisit them.
Your MIM is all about understanding what is truly important and what is just acting as urgent in our lives.
Our daily actions create our results. It's not about doing 10,000 things each day or staring at a to-do list that makes us want to crawl into a hole. This is about picking ONE THING, staying focused on this mission, and feeling SUCCESSFUL at the end of each day when we can say "mission accomplished."
Versus the alternative...looking at that huge to-do list and feeling defeated that we weren't able to complete 4 new projects, cook dinner, clear out our bottomless pit of an email box, write two blog posts, stay active on social media, grocery shop, exercise, and make time for family too.
WHAT?! Sound similar to your old daily list? What are you doing to yourself each day?
Creating your habits of success do allow you to get tons more done, with lots less decision power, but you also need to cut out the tasks that aren't adding value.
Do I do more than one thing each day? Yes, usually I do. But I know that as long as I've accomplished my MIM then I can feel successful and only continue on if I want to.
MIM's have also helped me define what is important in my life and business, and what is just something we place upon ourselves to stay busy.
