Holiday Home Workout

For those of you who are like me and relieve stress through exercise, I'm sharing the fat-torching, equipment-free workout that I did this morning. The holidays are hectic, and the gym may be closed, but that won't stop us! 

You can do as many rounds as you want (I'd shoot for between 3-7 to get your heart pumping!) based on how much time you are able to squeeze in between pie baking and present wrapping. I did 6 rounds this morning and worked up a good sweat.

To increase the intensity and keep track of rounds, we're adding on reps to every other exercise each round! Try to rest as little as possible between each round, no more than 1 minute. 

Round 1

10 squats

30 second plank

10 mountain climbers

15 push ups

10 lunges on each leg

15 leg raises  

10 center crunches

Round 2

20 squats

30 second plank

20 mountain climbers

15 push ups

20 lunges on each leg

15 leg raises  

20 center crunches

Round 3

30 squats

30 second plank

30 mountain climbers

15 push ups

30 lunges on each leg

15 leg raises  

30 center crunches

Round 4

40 squats

30 second plank

40 mountain climbers

15 push ups

40 lunges on each leg

15 leg raises  

40 center crunches

....and so on until you've felt enough burn for the day!

Now you're ready to enjoy the holiday!
