ˈbaləns/ : SHOULD ONLY EXIST IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.
Does everyone keep telling you to get balanced? Have you sat in a yoga class and rolled your eyes? Do you sit staring thinking that you shouldn’t be thinking right now, but you’re trying to meditate and everyone told you this is where the magic happens?
Can I just be honest with you? (I'm going to be regardless of how you just responded to that rhetorical question…)
Balance is a fallacy. Let me tell you a secret. Balance doesn’t exist. And everyone who's telling you that balance is the answer is sending you on a wild goose chase and then living their own imbalanced life behind closed doors...where you can't see them (see: rude).
Your success lies in an imbalanced life.
I know sounds ridiculous right? But when you let go of the expectation that everyone else has set for you, you find your freedom. Freedom from the boundaries your “balanced” life has created for you.
I’m Adrienne and let me tell you how I said goodbye to balance, found my freedom and created own rich life.
Not long ago, freedom was very elusive for me too. I thought it was something that wasn't available for someone like me, someone who wanted to achieve incredibly big goals, someone who thought climbing the corporate ladder was the only way to be "successful," someone who thought I'd be in debt for the next 25 years and someone who figured I wasn't worthy of a life of freedom AND fulfillment. Sound familiar?
I completely bulldozed all those above statements in my own life and I'm ready to help you do the same with yours, whatever is holding you back from reaching your highest potential, from being your best self, we're about to blow it away.
WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT DISCIPLINE & HABITS WERE ACTUALLY THE KEY TO CREATing A FREE AND RICH LIFE?
I've been through a lot of things in life that you required me to overcome the odds. Lots of momma drama to start with, alcoholism, anxiety & depression, eating disorders, insomnia, financial messes...the works. But if I were to show you my resume it doesn't have any of that on it, what it does have is:
paid off over $45k in debt in 6 months (this should totally be on my resume)
two degrees from prestigious universities (B.S., M.S.)
collegiate athlete (water polo player)
executive board member of my sorority
a 179 page masters thesis making me the expert on something no one really cares about anyway
a prestigious Fortune 500 company career
president of said Fortune 500's young professionals group
Six Sigma & Supply Chain certifications
project leader for numerous company-wide initiatives
lots of public speaking shindigs
long-distance triathlon competitor (& winner, just sayin)
USA National Triathlon team qualifier
fitness & spinning instructor
Financial Peace University graduate and instructor
fully replaced income and quit soul-sucking day job 6 months after starting side business
dog-mom to a therapy & literacy pup
author of forthcoming book
To me this says tapping into your highest potential is available to everyone and anyone who is interested in it, willing to do the work and exploration, and ready to live a life they'd only ever dreamed about.
This is about tapping into all that potential you know you've always had...
If you're like me, you get really excited by the idea of being world class, of being great at what you do, of living a very extraordinary, successful and rich life. But you're frustrated because it seems to slip through your fingers. The problem, of course, is that YOU are the bottleneck, you are the one holding yourself back from a life of success and fulfillment, mastery and freedom, but it doesn’t have to be this way.
If you want to tap into your HIGHEST potential, you need to stop making excuses and start to actively grow yourself. This means committing to self-mastery.
What is self-mastery?
It's taking ownership of your results in life and using any and every means available to become the best that you can be while creating the freedom and fulfillment you crave. Self-mastery is recognizing that to get to that world class level, you will have to develop exceptional, robust inner resources and habits -– because all your results ultimately flow from, yup you guessed it, YOU.
This is not idle theorizing. Result, results, results are what I care about, but results don’t have to be so mythical. There’s nothing fluffy here. The fact is, if you're not satisfied with what you've accomplished so far or not satisfied with how what you’ve accomplished turned your life into more of a grind...you need better habits, better beliefs, better thought-patterns, more emotional awareness, more knowledge, and new technical skills to bridge the gap, you need self-mastery.
That’s where I come in, to show you how to live your richest, happiest life.
This is about:
REAL, results-driven personal development without fluff, bullshit, or hype
Hard work: recognizing that it takes massive effort to become successful
Long-term thinking: investing in yourself
Cultivating a love for the life-long pursuit of personal development
Advanced concepts, strategies, techniques, and tools for making lasting improvements
Unleashing your highest potential
Finding your true life purpose
Staying on track with your purpose after you've found it
Becoming world-class at what you do
Creating financial success, freedom, and lasting fulfillment
Building emotional and self-awareness
Building the habits of success
This is about fulfilling your highest potential in life through active, deliberate growth, growth that doesn’t overtake your life, but accentuates it. You do it because it is necessary to become successful. And you do it because, well, there's hardly anything more rewarding and meaningful to do with your life in my opinion.
And just a few more random things about me...
in taking consistent daily action
that being fully aligned with your values and vision creates fulfillment
that overcoming mediocrity is available to anyone willing to believe it and do the work
my dog, Church E. Bear (see photos) taught me how to love
I knew what my dog was thinking all the time…
that everyone gave 10% of their income to someone or something that needed it more
I wasn’t lactose intolerant
that more people had the balls to live the life they really desire.
I’m an expert at…
manifesting the life I desire
gracefully articulating the truth without having people hate me
waking up really early with a smile on my face
mastering mySELF so that I can achieve my goals, and teaching others to do the same.
